Seldom Colorado 2

September 9, 2018

A word came to me through the ether: “hands cut off”…. No doubt linked to a dream of woman in which I said, “Cut her hands off; she’s a thief.”

This as I contemplated the latest maneuver from DHS. They are using draconian tactics to collect $773 they say I suddenly owe them. See Sodom 6. More to come….

Taz

is conspicuous in camouflage. Someone shouted GO RANGER and he jumped off the balcony at the Chateau Motel. Screwed up his ankles. Sat in his wheelchair in the pavilion in Dorchester Park by the liquor store and waited for someone to wheel him to the homeless shelter every night before the 10 p.m. curfew.

We had a close call when I pushed him over the grade crossing on South Sierra Madre, but only because he kept leaning on the brake.

It was Taz who dusted Craig Noble out from our camp when he was set ablaze under the Nevada Avenue bridge.

I lost my seniority at the shelter.  The policy is to reserve a man’s cot for him until 6:30 p.m. if he signed in the previous night.  Another policy they have is to give preferential treatment to men who have jobs.  First in for shelter, food, showers, etc.
